Patrick Johnson presented on the Pitfalls and Complication Avoidance with Navigation at the recent Spine Summit 2021, the 37th Annual Meeting of the Joint Section on Disorders of the Spine and Peripheral Nerves, held by the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. The annual conference showcases the best ongoing research in the field of spinal neurosurgery.
Dr. Johnson covered the latest technological advances in the field of spinal surgery including surface technology, new biologics for fusion, expandable cages, new applications for navigation, robotics, and other topics. Many of the innovations addressed have the potential to improve surgical efficiency, safety, and outcomes.
The annual Spine Summit is jointly provided by the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons.
